Tantrums

It is common for toddlers to have tantrums. In fact, children of all ages can have tantrums – but that doesn’t make them any easier to deal with.

  • extreme reactions to ordinary things
  • crying
  • shouting
  • screaming
  • hitting
  • kicking
  • throwing
  • out of control

Do you feel as though you’re treading on eggshells? Tip-toeing round your child, trying not to do anything to set them off? Has life become a daily battle?

Do you struggle to know how to handle your child when they are having a tantrum? Do you know how to prevent tantrums?

Over the years, I’ve helped many, many families to overcome the daily battle against trantrums. Many parents struggle to handle their own emotions when their child is having a tantrum. They find themselves becoming angry or tearful. However, learning how to deal with your own behaviour as well as your child’s could be the first step towards a happy and harmonious household. You can learn to enjoy your child, instead of letting tantrums get the better of you.
